The WARREN COUNTY JUNIOR FIREFIGHTERS is a hands-on program open to young men and women, 12 to 20 years old, with an interest in learning about careers in the fire service, emergency medical services (EMS), and public safety. You get to experience firsthand what it’s like to be a firefighter, emergency medical technician, and so much more! The program is delivered through local participating fire
departments, taught by real firefighters and EMTs, and is flexible enough to fit in with other activities throughout the year to meet the needs of the host organization and the youth participants. THE PROGRAM OFFERS THE FOLLOWING BENEFITS:

If you are a young man or woman 12+ years old you are invited to join us at our next meeting on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 7:00 pm, at Warrenton Rural Volunteer Fire Department.

Members of the Warren County Junior Firefighters, NC trained in a dark environment to simulate what it’s like to locate and rescue a victim inside a burning building. Rescuers wore blacked-out masks, having to rely on touch and technique to find the victim.
