Saucon Valley Families,

Due to new information received by the Saucon Valley School District regarding the potential threat earlier this afternoon, all Saucon Valley School District schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 26. We make this decision with the priority of our students’ and staffs’ safety in mind. We will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.

There will be no non-public transportation on Thursday and the Saucon Valley School District Campus will be closed.

The Saucon Valley School District will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 due to extreme wind chills forecasted for Tuesday morning. No breakfast will be served, and non-public transportation will operate on a 2-hour delay. There will be no AM Vo-Tech. Our offices will also operate on a 2-hour delay.

Class is in session this Saturday morning. Our Saucon Valley School District bus drivers recertify their CDL during this eight hour class with follow up hours on the road training. We are fortunate to have in-house trainers who are certified to teach drivers to obtain their CDL.
If you currently hold a CDL, or you are interested in obtaining one and would like to drive a school bus please apply on our district website.

Saucon Valley School District Transportation: Saucon Valley School District is on a regular schedule December 11. No AM transport for Non-public/Charter schools who are on a delay, only PM transport for those schools. If your Non-public/Charter is regular schedule, Saucon will transport this AM.
