You know something is truly dead when it crumples like an empty pop can. These kinds of trees end up being everywhere and can leave a false sense of security. They are basically a ticking time bomb!

It’s that time of year for picnics and summer fun with the family! Where else do you picnic but under a tree!? Just make sure that the one you choose isn’t just pretending to look nice. ☀️

I’m of the opinion that you should choose an arborist that you could run into at the grocery store. Choosing local companies helps in so many ways but is actually super beneficial for the customer. Knowing the level of future contact always helps level the playing field! If you’re looking for a local arborist to remove, treat or just trim some of your trees we would love to help you out. We are always happy to do a free consultation and walk your property to see what stands out. If you’re having any doubts feel free to review our google reviews at www.rockymountaintreecraft.com. We are licensed and insured and are always happy to provide that information if requested. I can assure you that our prices are fair but the service will be top notch!

Your evergreen could be dangerous and you don’t know it! They have a tendency to develop something called included bark which creates weak portions that are prone to breakage in moderate wind environments. I like to remind folks that trees always weigh more than you think and that tree standing next to your house could be a “home-wrecker”. If you have an evergreen that forks like this please give us a call because there are preventative measures that we can take, like cabling! If you have a concerns or questions give us a holler and send us a message.

No backs were harmed in the making of this video! We actually care a lot about our backs and realistically don’t carry chunks nearly that big. We aren’t spring chickens anymore and stretch before every job!

Rocky Mountain Tree Craft founder, Owen Wild shares his story. Questions we ask, like, “how did you figure out that being an arborist was for you?”

Starting a business is an adventure. But Owen started a business that is an adventure.

We hope you enjoy this. It is the first part his Founder Story, kind of a mini-documentary series. The rest are forthcoming. So, if you haven’t followed already, please do, and watch for the next one.

Sometimes it’s just about the view! I always have a chance to look at the Wasatch back from a totally different perspective. Thanks to for capturing this footage of us taking down a pretty large poplar!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been whipped by branches and smacked around by the trees around what I’m taking down! There is more to tree work than folks realize
