Backpacks for Kids registration is officially OPEN for the 2026–2027 school year! 🥳📚

🗓️ Registration is open now through **July 28th** don’t miss out!

📍 **Distribution Day:**
Thursday, August 6th at the Hays Recreation Commission Leisure Center

👉 Missed it? No worries! Any remaining supplies can be picked up on **Friday, August 7th**.

🎁 All registered students will receive:
✔️ A brand-new backpack 🎒
✔️ Grade-appropriate school supplies ✏️📓
✔️ A hygiene kit 🧴🪥

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This program is only available to students living in and attending school within Ellis County, Kansas.

Let’s get our kids ready for a great school year! 🍎💙

Any donations of new supplies are graciously welcomed! A suggested supply list can be found on our website!

A big shout out to Brock and the Little Dillons in Hays! They accidentally had ordered too much milk and instead of dumping it, they donated over 100 1/2 gallons to us to serve families in need! Thank you!!
