Hatteras Village

The Haunted Trail is proving to be maybe our best one yet! Hope to see you there. Just know, if you hear your name, don't answer...

Halloween is almost here! A week from now, we'll be on the grill and getting ready for a FUN NIGHT in Hatteras Village! Stop in at the grill for hamburgers and hot dogs, chips and a soda. Join our little Trunk or Treat in front of the post office if you want to see all the cuteness and spookies! We do ask this year that if you are on a golf cart, please be mindful of those that are not. We are suggesting that carts stay on the left side of the road and walkers stay more in the middle as you move down Kohler, leaving the right side open for traffic that may need to move down the road.

Closing in on the final planning for this year's haunted trail! Excited for a little different delivery and story. Remember, we are loading at the Community Building down in the village by the post office/library NOT the Civic Center.

Love the contrast of the scarlet glasswort with the rest of the marsh (and what's in it) in the fall!

We are transporting from the Community Building this year, the one down in the village near the post office and library. Hope to see you ... on the trail... 👻☠️🎃

Our Rosie, up in Rodanthe yesterday with the Methodist charge, delivering snacks and hot dogs to the people in line. After all her recent challenges, what a blessing she was to go and help up there! Thanks, Rosie! One heck of a first long walk after all that!
