Thank you for a decade of serving a wonderful group of homebirthing families. I am now working at the River Valley Birth Center in St. Peter and would encourage everyone who is pregnant to consider using our services there. It is a beautiful facility in which we have in-network contracts with many insurance companies so you can receive individualized midwifery care that is covered with your health plan! :)

Welcome Selah Grace! Your parents, brother, and sister were eager to meet you but you had your own perfect timing. The first photo I took at her one day visit. The other photo was provided by Selah's immensely talented Poppa. Such a sweet Mothers's Day weekend. Attending the births of two baby girls for women becoming a mama again (7th & 5th babies, respectively) and spending some quality time with my own mother. We even watched the first episode of Call the Midwife together and drank a cuppa. :)

On this Mother's Day, I am thinking about all the women I have served as midwife, midwife's assistant, and doula. This is a holiday filled with a variety of emotions but love and gratitude are the dominant emotions in my heart when I think of you today. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey
