Heads up, Connecticut! A is in effect through 8 pm on Thursday, and we want to make sure you stay safe out there.
Here are a few ways to beat the heat:
💧 Drink water consistently, even if you don't feel thirsty
🏠 Stay indoors during peak heat hours (10am–4pm)
👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored, loose-fitting clothing
🐾 Don't forget your pets! Make sure they have shade and fresh water
🚗 Never leave children or animals in a parked car
