Community members and local leaders recently gathered at Presque Isle State Park to mark the 100th anniversary of the Perry Monument with a community celebration honoring Commodore Perry’s legacy.

The more than 100-foot-tall monument serves as a memorial to the victory in the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812.

Ohiopyle State Park was recently named on The New York Times list of wild swimming spots!

"At the southern end of the Laurel Highlands, Ohiopyle State Park offers plenty of options for fun in the water, fewer than 80 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
