I’ve noticed something lately that doesn’t sit right with me.
When direct questions get asked about our city, the response is sometimes, “let’s take that offline” or “we can talk privately.”
I don’t think that’s how it should work.
If it affects our roads, our schools, or our future, the answers shouldn’t be behind closed doors—they should be shared publicly so everyone can hear them.
That’s the standard I believe in.
So let me ask you this:
Do you think candidates should answer questions publicly, or is it okay to handle those conversations privately?
