All City Choir featured 9 of our 5th-grade students from our Dynamo Choir. They sang with students from all 17 elementary schools in HCISD. They did an amazing job representing Dishman and we are super proud of them.

Our Dishman K3 Dynamo Chess team was recognized by the HCISD School Board for placing top 3 at the State Chess Tournament. The team will move on to represent HCISD and Dishman in Baltimore, Maryland in May.

Congratulations to our Dishman Dynamo Chess team, sponsors Ms. Reyna, Ms. Garcia, and Coach Michael Rodriguez. The team did an amazing job competing at the Texas State Scholastic Championship. We are proud to share that our K-3 team has qualified to compete at the National Elementary Championship in Baltimore in May. Our K-5 team landed in 6th place, but the competition was tough and they represented Dishman like the champions they are. We are super proud of both teams!!!

Good luck to our Dishman Dynamo Chess team!
They will be competing this weekend at the 2023 Texas State Scholastic Chess Championship. Winners of this championship will advance to the 2023 National Elementary (K-6) Championship. Our first round begins at 7:15 pm tonight. Let's send them positive vibes. Dynamos you got this! Stay focused, be strategic, and remember you are !! We are super proud of you!
