This morning, Representative Scheuren hosted a memorial service at the Harleysville Fire Company station.

As a community, we came together to remember and honor the heroes and first responders of September 11, 2001, while also recognizing the first responders who continue to serve and protect our Lower Salford community today.

25 years later, we remember their courage, sacrifice, and service. We will never forget.

Lower Salford Township Police Department has been receiving many calls from residents who have been receiving phones calls purporting to be from an officer with the Lower Salford Police Department. The recipients of these phone calls are being told that they missed jury duty and there is a warrant for their arrest and requesting money to satisfy the warrant. These phone calls are SCAMS. LSPD does not request or solicit money from anyone, to include cash, gift cards, or Bitcoin. Please do not send any money to these scammers and end the phone call. Contact LSPD with any questions at 215-256-9500.

• Morris Road
• Landis Road
• Alderfer Road
• Maple Avenue
• Ruth Road
• Moyer Road
• Store Road
• Freed/Yoder Road
• Broad Street

Please use caution while traveling through these areas.

‼️‼️Local Harleysville Residents Upcoming Detour Announcement‼️‼️

A heads up to our local residents who might encounter a road closure this week. Tuesday August 25th the company will be hosting our annual large tanker drill. The drill will be approximately 6:30-8:30PM
Indian Creek Road from Price Road to Sturgis Road will be closed unless you live in the area. Freeman School Road will be closed from Salfordville Road. Salfordville road will be limited access. Groffs Mill Park will be closed for the evening also.
There will be a large amount of moving trucks in the area, please take caution and give them room.
