The battlegroup is 1 of 8 in the east of the Alliance, from the Baltic to the Black Sea, and we are exercising to scale them up to brigade-size to ensure NATO protects and defends every inch of Allied territory.

Helicopter forces from 4 NATO Allies train together in Zaragoza, Spain
The multinational exercise provided an opportunity for the forces to improve familiarity with each other, and gain experience working in a reduced visibility environment, including practicing tactical landings in the dusty landscape
Chinooks, NH90, Puma and Tiger helicopters from the Italian, Dutch, Spanish and UK military took part in exercise TOMAS EN POLVO earlier this month in the San Gregorio training area
