Hampton High School rising senior Audrey Bethea has been awarded a prestigious scholarship to attend the Great American Leadership Program hosted by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in partnership with Pepperdine University in Malibu, California!

This nationally recognized leadership program brings together outstanding high school students from across the country to study leadership, communication, civic responsibility, and public service through hands-on experiences, leadership simulations, and mentorship opportunities. Students also receive exclusive access to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and participate in workshops designed to develop the next generation of leaders.

Even more impressive, Audrey Bethea was selected to receive a FULL SCHOLARSHIP covering airfare, travel, housing, meals, and program expenses. This honor is awarded to a limited number of students nationwide who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential.

Programs like this are highly competitive and provide students with opportunities to network with peers and leaders from across the United States while experiencing college life at one of the nation’s most respected universities.

We are incredibly proud to see a Hampton Bulldog representing our community on a national stage! Congratulations, Audrey! Your hard work, leadership, and dedication continue to make Hampton proud.

Dr. Thomas is hosting 3 events across 3 counties to connect the vision of the Center of Excellence with the communities that will benefit from it. The meetings will begin with an overview of the project given by Dr. Thomas. Then the floor will be open for "Questions and Suggestions," giving community members a chance to share their thoughts and ideas about the Center of Excellence.
