Before the summer 2024 comes to an end, I wanted to share a few recipes I received from Louise Clower (my mother-in-law). Thank you to Mr Clower for typing them up for me about 16 years ago. I have shared some of them with family and wanted to share here on Facebook. If you've ever lived in the old Clower Farm house or you are a friend/family of someone that did, I would love for you to share one of your recipes here. First is the "Banana Pudding"-this is an original meringue recipe. Second is the "Blue Berry Delight" which sounds so delicious.... I do have a few more that I will share close to the holidays......

The Clower Estate..Here's a few photo's of the last standing barn on the property minus the lean to for each side. There may of been an old smoke house to the right of this barn (you can see in the photo). If anyone remembers please share... It looks like the man with the hat on might be David W Clower who would be Mr Bobby Clower (Rick's dad) grandfather. You can see him sitting in a rocking chair under the tree's.

If anyone has wondered what the temperature freezing point is in a house built in the 1860’s that has no central heat or air…. It’s officially posted at 11* degrees. One positive thing is our electric blanket was delivered yesterday … thank you Amazon
