Alright boys the wait is almost over. The season starts Friday! If you plan on hunting be sure to get out and scout. If you kill some birds send us your pictures so we can post them on the club’s new Instagram hsc_du_official. Be sure to follow the club’s new page because we plan on posting a lot this year. If you have the chance tomorrow be sure to stop by the club fair tomorrow on the Graham Hall lawn from 5:00 to 6:30. We’ll be ready to talk ducks and answer any questions you have about the club.

Alright boys, there is only about a month left before the start of the fall semester which means the early season isn't that far away. Here are some tips and things you should do before the start of the season.

1. Purchase your hunting licence and the state and federal duck stamps
2. Clean your gun and shoot some clays if you can (this will pay off big time)
3. Brush up on your calling
4. Make sure your decoys, waders, boat, and other gear are in good shape

We can't wait to get back on the hill to see everybody and start chasing birds.

Who will be free on Saturday March 12th??

The Virginia Ducks Unlimited State Convention will be held from 8:30 am until 10:00 pm in Williamsburg, VA at the Williamsburg Lodge.

HSC DU members will be in attendance to help with the event, and we would like to invite all who may be intersted. Come and support the world's leader in wetlands conservation and become part of the VA DU team.
