March 2026 American Legion Post 131 meeting. We had 10 members in attendance and one guest. A wonderful meal was provided by Jeff Lewis (with assistance from Mrs. Lewis).

The next gathering will be for Adopt-A-Highway clean up on March 31, 2026. We need assistance many members as possible to make this an efficient endeavor.

American Legion Post 131 Christmas Dinner at Shamrock Restaurant in Williamston. What an evening of fellowship and anticipation. We completed the drawing for the American Legion Post 131 Fundraiser. The winning tickets were all sold by The One, The Only Tim Williams! Congratulations to Mr. Simmonds, Mrs. Harrell, and Mrs. Leggett. Merry Christmas to all that participated by either purchasing and/or selling tickets.

November Meeting of American Legion Post 131. We celebrated November Birthdays, Mike O'Neil provided a delectable meal, and we actually did business for the good of American Legion Post 131.

Veterans Day Ceremony with AMVETS Post 237. Martin County High School Gators JROTC did an excellent job as usual. Guest Speaker Justin McCrary provided an inspiring message. Thanks to AMVETS Post 227 and all the volunteers that made this event special.

Teamwork made the dream work! We were mission focused and we got it done. I think we all had somewhere to be. Great job ...
