Today 6/12/2026 at 12:11 pm. E202, E201, and U201, with St. Clair Township/New Miami Life Squad and mutual aid, responded to the area of Wayne Madison Rd and Augspurger Rd for a MVA with entrapment. E51 arrived on scene and advised of a vehicle on its top with one patient trapped. M211 and M231 began patient care while E51 began stabilization and extrication. E202 arrived on scene and assisted E51 with extrication. A medical helicopter responded to the area for transport. We would like to thank our mutual aid for their assistance.

Today, our members participated in search and rescue and forcible entry techniques with members from the New Miami Fire Department and the Wayne Township Fire Association - Butler County, OH utilizing an acquired structure. We appreciate these members for their dedication to training despite the harsh heat.

Earlier today, June 7, 2026 at 3:30 pm units were dispatched to the 3100 block of Fear Not Mills rd for a reported propane leak from a residential propane tank. M231 was the first arriving unit and advised of an active leak from the tank. E202 arrived on scene and began investigating and found a faulty safety relief valve as the issue. Crews on scene began evacuating neighbors and deployed a pre connect as a precaution. E222 arrived on scene and staged at a hydrant. Other dispatched units were cancelled after units were able to contain the leak.

Controlled Explosive Disposal

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Unit will be conducting the disposal of explosives recovered during a previous search warrant investigation.

The disposal operations will take place today at the Butler County Bomb Range, 1917 Woodsdale Road, Trenton, Ohio, and may continue periodically until dark.

Residents in Trenton, Madison Township, St. Clair Township, and other surrounding areas may hear loud explosions during this time. These noises are expected and are the result of controlled detonations being conducted by trained bomb technicians.

There is no danger to the public. The detonations are being conducted in a safe and controlled environment at the designated bomb range.

We appreciate the public's understanding and cooperation. Please do not call 911 to report the explosions unless you observe suspicious activity unrelated to this scheduled operation.

Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 12:18 p.m., units were dispatched to the 2000 block of St. Clair Street for a reported vehicle fire inside a detached garage. M231 was the first arriving unit and advised of heavy smoke from a detached garage. M231 and deputies on scene were able to remove the vehicle from the garage and limit fire damage to the structure. E202 arrived on scene and stretched an attack line to contain the engine compartment fire on the vehicle. E222 assisted E202 crew with fire attack and cleanup, and all other mutual aid was canceled. We thank our mutual aid partners for their assistance and quick response.

Tonight, May 28, 2026, around 8:30 p.m., units were dispatched to 600 Seven Mile Avenue (New Miami school) for a reported structure fire. C200 arrived on scene and advised smoke showing from the roof. E202 arrived on scene, laddered the building, and began an investigation. E202 crew found a small fire on the roof and extinguished it with one handline. E201 crew entered the building to open doors for easy access and check for any extension. The power to the building was secured, and units remained on scene for overhaul and investigation. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. We thank our mutual aid partners for their assistance and quick response.
