Yesterday evening, 5/18/2026, around 9 pm, units were dispatched to 2243 Hamilton Cleves Rd (Town and Country MHP) for a reported trailer fully engulfed. T22 was the first arriving fire apparatus and advised that they had one trailer on fire with fire quickly spreading to two other trailers. E202 arrived on the scene after T22 and assisted with fire suppression. Tanker operations were set up on SR-128, and the roadway had to be shut down. We thank our mutual aid partners for assisting us with this large incident.

Important Information Notice:

When encountering emergency vehicles, tow trucks, or construction crews on the roadway, it is crucial to stop at all closures or blocked roadways.

Recently, at the intersection of US-127 and Trenton Rd/Seven Mile Ave, multiple vehicles made their own route around a crash scene that was blocking half of the roadway, which caused major traffic issues and put other cars and personnel on scene at risk. To ensure the safety of our personnel and others operating at the scene, we close the roadway during emergencies. We want everyone to make it home to their families or to work in a timely manner, but safety continues to be our #1 priority.

In the picture below it shows the number of roadway related deaths by each roadway service over the last few years.

Public Sevice announcement.

If you hear any loud booms around 11:00 AM this morning in the Woodsdale Rd. area near Madison Township, St. Clair Township, or Trenton — don’t be alarmed, it’s only us.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Unit will be conducting scheduled explosive disposal operations at the Bomb Range located at 1917 Woodsdale Rd.

When the Bomb Unit recovers or confiscates explosive materials during investigations or calls for service, those items must be safely handled and properly disposed of by trained technicians. These controlled detonations are part of that process and are conducted in a secure environment following strict safety procedures.

We appreciate the community’s understanding as our Bomb Technicians continue working to keep Butler County safe.

St. Clair Township received a Community Development Block Grant for $50,400 for the use and installation of traffic preemption devices for use in the city of Hamilton for travel to our southern coverage area(Sharon Park/128). This system will help improve our response times by giving our units the green light as they approach intersections. This system was installed on E202, E201, T201, and BR201. These units were also installed on 2 medics and 1 ALS unit for St. Clair Twp. - New Miami Life Squad. Thanks to the Butler County Commissioners and (HUD) Housing and Urban Development for the funds.
