Not every rescue starts when crews arrive — preparation starts long before the call comes in.

This morning, our crews spent time training on vehicle extrication, sharpening the skills needed to safely and efficiently remove patients during serious crashes. From tool operation to patient access and coordination, training like this helps ensure our personnel are ready when seconds matter most.

A huge thank you to Reffitts Garage and Towing for providing the vehicles and supporting this valuable hands-on training opportunity for our department and community.

TRAINING FOR THE UNSEEN

Not every call is routine—and not every injury is visible.

Last night, our crews trained on traumatic brain injuries, sharpening their ability to recognize, assess, and treat these critical patients when seconds matter most.

Training like this ensures we’re ready to make the right decisions, deliver the right care, and protect the people we serve—every single call.
