Tornado Drills in Carver County - Weather Awareness Week

Two tornado drills are scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2026:

1:45 PM CDT: Outdoor warning sirens and NOAA Weather Radio will be tested; primarily intended for institutions and businesses.

6:45 PM CDT: Siren and radio test for evening shift workers and families.

Sirens generally sound for about three minutes.
