This is in response to your email dated March 5, 2026, regarding the installation of Horsedrawn Vehicle signs on Armstrong Valley Road (SR 0225) and Enders Road (SR 4001), in Jackson Township, Dauphin County.
A traffic engineering and safety study was conducted by a PennDOT. As a result of the study, Horsedrawn Vehicle signs will be installed on Armstrong Valley Road (SR 0225) and Enders Road (SR 4001). Work orders have been issued to our PennDOT Dauphin County Maintenance office to install the requested signs. Please allow 60 days for the scheduling and completion of this work.
We appreciate your concerns for safety on our state roads.

The Horsedrawn Vehicles sign (W 11-14) is a sign that PennDOT installs and maintains. We will review the sign locations from the drawing you submitted. Once we verify the sign locations (they may be a little different depending on field conditions) we will create a work order and send it to our Dauphin County Maintenance Office to have the signs installed. Due to scheduling and weather delays, it may take up to 60 days for them to be ordered and installed. If you have any questions please let me know.
