The Holidays in Halifax is excited to announce that the Holiday Market is now accepting vendor applications. Local Vendors are invited to apply to be part of this festive community event, which will take place at Halifax Elementary School and be open from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Town of Halifax is pleased to announce that the 2025 Annual Town Report is now available.

The report provides residents with a comprehensive overview of Town government activities, department accomplishments, financial information, election results, Town Meeting actions, and key events that occurred throughout 2025. Updates from town departments and public bodies are also included.

Residents are encouraged to review the Annual Town Report to learn more about the work completed and accomplishments made on behalf of the community during the past year.

The Town extends its appreciation to all elected and appointed officials, volunteers, employees, and residents whose contributions help make Halifax a strong and vibrant community.

Get ready, Halifax! Saturday is planned to be a fun-filled day at the Halifax Fireworks Celebration with community spirit, great food, music, and plenty of family-friendly fun!

Community Fair: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Halifax Museum: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
BBQ Fundraiser Lunch: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Food Trucks, Music, and Fun: 5:00 PM
Fireworks: Begin at Dark

Bring the whole crew - family, friends, and neighbors - and come celebrate with us! Enjoy the festivities, support the BBQ fundraiser, and end the day with a sparkling fireworks show. We can’t wait to see the community come together!

Come hungry and bring your family and friends for a delicious lunch cooked up by the amazing Sarcastic Swine. It will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food, connect with the community, and help raise the funds needed to keep the Halifax Fireworks shining bright for years to come.

Start making your plans for next weekend - Halifax is the place to be! Saturday, June 27th will be filled with hometown pride, family-friendly activities, great food, music, and a spectacular fireworks display for the whole community to enjoy.

Morning festivities begin at 10am: Antique Tractors, Community Fair (featuring local Vendors and Activities and the Halifax Museum will be open for visitors.

Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a delicious BBQ Fundraiser Lunch with Sarcastic Swine (11am-2pm). It’s the perfect way to enjoy great food while supporting the community. Beginning at 5:00pm, head over to Halifax Elementary School for food trucks, music, and more community fun as we celebrate together into the evening. Stay for the grand finale! A spectacular fireworks display will light up the night sky after dark.

We warmly invite the community, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Sports Teams, Landscapers, Local Businesses, and anyone ready to spark a little teamwork to join us for a Firework Field Clean Up Day on June 28 from 9:00 a.m.

The more the merrier — many hands make light work, and together we can make the cleanup go off with a bang. It may not be the most glamorous job, but it is a necessary one to help make the event shine.

Students from any town looking for volunteer hours are more than welcome to pitch in, and we are happy to provide documentation of the hours participated — consider it a bright way to earn service time.

We would be grateful for any time and support you can offer as we work together to keep this wonderful Halifax tradition glowing strong.

Come hungry for lunch at our BBQ Fundraiser with Sarcastic Swine! Proceeds will support Halifax Fireworks and Holidays in Halifax, so every bite helps keep our community celebrations shining bright.
Then, stick around as the fireworks celebration kicks off at 5:00 PM with food trucks, music, and more festive fun leading up to the big show once it’s dark out!
