Scene flight with Regional Air-Medical Services - RAMS and Regional Paramedical Services, Inc.
A call that started out as the true core mission of a volunteer first responder service, just neighbors helping neighbors. Chief Salter received a phone call that an older gentleman up the road had fallen and needed some help up. After arriving it was decided that an ambulance was needed for the man to be evaluated. While the man was being moved to the ambulance via stretcher, his wife misstepped and clearly injured her leg. Due to the nature of the injury she needed to be flown to higher definitive care.
Our thoughts and prayers are with this sweet couple and wish them the best in recovery.
