Our flag pole has been broke for a year or 2 we just haven't had a way to get up there to fix it but today Thanks to Haleyville Fire Department we was able to get it fixed. The Delmar Fire Department would like to extend a big Thank You to Haleyville Fire Department for bringing the ladder truck down so we could fix our flag pole.
Also a big Thanks to Dustin Gates Micah Ouellette and James Liverett for fixing it

Thank you to RC&D for the grant to replace our heating and AC unit and install new gutters on our building.
Our old unit did not heat at all and we had to rely on vanguard heaters for heat, with our new unit it is more efficient and will save money on our heating and cooling bill.
Before we did not have any gutters and our firemen and community would get soaked when coming into the building when it was a storm ...the new gutters make for a nice and dry entryway for everyone.
Everyone here at Delmar Fire dept would like to give a big thank you to the legislatures and everyone who makes this grant possible and allows us to continue to make improvements to better serve our community.
