We strive to provide fast, efficient and professional service. Your County Treasurer’s Office is managed like a business, every office expense is evaluated against the return on the investment. While the number of accounts managed has grown by over 30 percent since 1990, the staff has not. For both the fiscal years of 2023 and 2024 the Treasurer’s Office returned a portion of their annual budget due to cost saving measures.
For the 2025 tax year over $4,000 was saved by outsourcing the annual real estate bill printing and $17,000 in legal advertising for the annual tax sale. The percentage of properties sold at the 2024 tax sale increased to 94.9%. This was full 10% over the sale in 2023. We welcome your comments and suggestions. We are here for you.
