Friends of Susan Lascolette I am a first-time candidate for the Goochland County Board of Supervisors for District 1. Our people are pretty special too. Let me hear from you!

I am a candidate for the Goochland County Board of Supervisors for District 1 and have lived in Goochland County for 25 years. We have an absolutely georgous location in central Virginia with horse farms, rolling hills and 25 miles of James River frontage. However, there have been continuous questions about the administration of our local government and in the last couple of years, there has been

a sudden vacancy in the offices of nearly a dozen county leaders and employees. Our treasurer was just arrested for embezzelment. We deserve better government and I will work toward that goal. A property tax increase is off the table. We have to learn to live within our means. My core principles include accountability and transparency and fiscal restraint. I am a strong property rights advocate. I want to know what the citizens of District 1 feel are the most important issues.
