EFMB Multi-Unit Train Up
Excellence Through Partnership: Gearing Up for the Expert Field Medical Badge

Last week, USAMRICD was proud to host a multi-organizational train-up for the prestigious Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB). Soldiers from our unit trained alongside personnel from WRAIR, and GFML to prepare for one of the most challenging tests in the U.S. Army.

This collaborative effort ensures our medical professionals are honed in on critical skills, from tactical combat casualty care to warrior tasks, under the most demanding conditions. By training together, we build a stronger, more integrated force.

A huge thank you to all participating units for their dedication. Wishing all candidates strength, focus, and resilience to earn their badge!

Today, on National Vietnam War Veterans Day, we pause to honor the service and sacrifice of the nine million Americans who served during the Vietnam War era. This day marks the anniversary of the departure of the last U.S. combat troops from Vietnam in 1973.

That's a wrap on an incredible week of training and preparation! 🚑
A huge thank you to all the dedicated civilian and military healthcare professionals who joined us for our latest HM-CBRNE course.

We are still energized by the amazing engagement and collaboration throughout the week as we dove into:
• Expert-led instruction on NIMS, NRF, and HICS
• A dynamic Multi-Hospital Mass Casualty Tabletop exercise
• Hands-on training, from practical exercises to live equipment demonstrations.

The opportunity to connect with professionals from across the nation and discuss shared challenges was a highlight for everyone. We are so impressed by the expertise each person brought to the table and hope you left with actionable strategies to enhance your hospital's preparedness.
