As the time to ensure free and fair voting rights for all is reaching a critical point, we are launching a fundraising campaign, "$26 for the 2026 Election."

You may contribute via credit card by going to our website at: https://my.lwv.org/connecticut/lwv-east-shore-0 and click on the Donate button under the heading “Donate to the LWV of the East Shore". You may contribute via check to "LWV of the East Shore," mailed to P.O. Box 195, Guilford, CT 06437.

The upcoming election season faces the possibility of having more barriers to voting than ever. Many people are worried about these challenges and may be disinclined to vote at all. Our League wants to reach out to those people and help them with voting information and reassurance that their vote really does count.

If ever there were a time when our communities needed a strong and active League of Women Voters, it is now.

Guilford hosts one of the BEST fireworks displays on the Shoreline!

Join the Guilford Parks and Recreation Department on Saturday, July 11th at the Guilford Fairgrounds, 7:00 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.

Parking is open at 6:00 p.m. Listen to live music by Shaded Soul Band and grab some eats from various food vendors.

Be sure to purchase your parking pass in advance! Passes are available online, with more information in the link below.

Flag Day Fun Fact! On June 14, 1776, the Connecticut General Assembly officially instructed its delegates in the Continental Congress to propose and support declaring the American colonies independent from Great Britain.
