Big day over here! ✨ My Statement of Organization was successfully processed, I received my FPPC number and picked up my very first campaign flyers. It’s starting to feel real, and I’m incredibly grateful for all of the encouragement and support so far.

What does it mean to vote for a District City Council representative?

Grover Beach uses a district-based election system, which means the city is divided into geographic districts. Instead of voting for every City Council seat citywide, residents vote for the representative who lives in — and represents — their specific district.

If you live in District 1, your vote helps choose the councilmember who will represent your neighborhood’s voice, priorities, and concerns on the Grover Beach City Council.

Hello, friends — I’m excited to officially share that I am running to represent District 1 on the Grover Beach City Council.

Grover Beach has been home to my family and me for the past 16 years. In this time, I’ve built lifelong friendships, raised my children here, and developed a deep appreciation for the people and character that make this city so special.

I’ve dreamed about finding a meaningful way to give back to the community that has given so much to me. With the support of my incredible husband, family, and friends, I’ve decided it’s time to take that step and run for City Council.

I care deeply about preserving the small coastal-town character we all love while supporting thoughtful growth, transparency, accountability, and strong community relationships. I believe leadership starts with listening, treating people with kindness and respect, and being willing to do the hard work together.

I’m excited for the conversations, connections, and opportunities ahead, and I hope you’ll follow along on this journey with me.
