Valera™ is manufactured by VaNovo™, and is the brainchild of Dr. Darlene Gaynor, Board Certified Female Urologist. Dr. Gaynor is in a private urology practice in northern Virginia, after having trained and practiced in the Chicago area. Dr. Gaynor received her Medical Degree at Nova Southeastern University, completed a general surgery residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey

, and completed a urology residency at Cook County Hospital / Midwestern University in Chicago, IL. In addition to practicing full-time, Dr. Gaynor instructs other urologists, gynecologists, primary care physicians and residents on state-of-the-art techniques and therapies. Dr. Gaynor is a member of ISSWSH (International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health). Dr. Gaynor states, “As a doctor and a woman, I wanted to create a product that my patients, and all women, would feel secure using, and that would be successful.”..
