Since our 'friends' in the Democrat party may not be aware of how these appointments are made, maybe I'll just review for the public, 📍NC General Statute § 163 30.
Article 4. County Boards of Elections.
--County boards of elections; appointments; terms of office; qualifications; vacancies; oath of office; instructional meetings.

(d) Whenever a VACANCY occurs in the membership of a county board for any cause, the State chair of the political party OF the vacating member shall have the right to recommend two registered voters of the affected county for such office, and it shall be the duty of the State Board to fill the vacancy from the names thus recommended.

When they perform administrative or legislative duties—such as establishing voting sites, certifying results, or enacting broad election policies—their hearings and actions are strictly administrative.

Another chance for the Autopen to be included on the NYT’s bestseller list

Joe Biden has announced a new presidential memoir reflecting on his time as President of the United States.

In the announcement, Biden says, "I've written a book," explicitly stating that he personally wrote it. The statement comes after controversy surrounding his use of an autopen during his presidency and scrutiny over public appearances in which he appeared to struggle while signing his name.

The memoir is titled PROMISE ME, AMERICA. It is scheduled for release on November 17 and is available for preorder now.
