The Grand Ledge Fire Department is proud to partner with McLaren Greater Lansing and the McLaren Greater Lansing Foundation as we continue working toward making Grand Ledge a HEARTSafe Community.

A HEARTSafe Community is one that is better prepared to respond to sudden cardiac arrest through public access to AEDs, CPR awareness, and strong emergency response partnerships.

Early CPR and quick access to an AED can save lives before first responders arrive. This partnership helps strengthen the chain of survival for our residents, visitors, and families.

Thank you to McLaren Greater Lansing for supporting this lifesaving effort and investing in the safety of the Grand Ledge community.

"Proposed in the 2026 GLAESA bond, a new fire station would be built on property that GLAESA puchased in the early 2000s in preparation for growth and expansion. A new substation would replace the current station, providing modern facilities and improved safety features for emergency personnel and allowing for stations on both sides of the river.
