The Grand Haven Area LWV was organized in 1945. Over the years, we have established our reputation in the community as a fair arbiter of election information, voter education, and as an advocate for voting access and rights. Lake Michigan coastline erosion, environmental quality, land use, and health services are among the issues our members have studied for input into state advocacy positions. The tradition and history of our local League is strong and enduring.
