In May, Grain Valley High School students competed against local school districts, including Independence, Blue Springs, Raytown, and Fort Osage, during the annual Job Olympics. The Job Olympics allows students to showcase their learning and compete in different job skills. It was a great day. Check it out! Before school let out for the summer, students at Grain Valley High School spoke with KMBC 9 about their fundraising efforts and the Mr. Eagle Senior boys pageant. Shout out to all the students for their hard work to raise money for a great cause!

What started as a senior boys pageant turned into a major community fundraiser in Grain Valley. Students at Grain Valley High School raised more than $8,000 for the Community Services League during this year’s Mr. Eagle competition.

When students attend school, the opportunities are endless. This year, our students showed up for their futures in a big way, as our district's proportional attendance rate soared to 91% for the 2025-2026 school year, beating our goal of 90%! This is a result of the continued support of our entire Grain Valley community, and we can’t thank our students, staff, and families enough for another great year. 🤩💙🦅✨
