The City of Goliad is currently accepting sealed proposals from qualified professionals or firms for the upcoming 2026-2027 Tree Maintenance Services contract. If awarded, this contract will support the City of Goliad with maintenance activities specifically for Tree Maintenance in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Please electronically submit your proposal in .pdf format via email to [email protected] AND submit two to three copies of your proposal of services and a statement of qualifications for the proposed services to the following address: Attn: Julia Post PO Box 939 Goliad, TX 77963. Proposals must be received by the City of Goliad no later than 2:00 pm on September 25, 2026, to be considered.

**Update ** Power is back up at City Hall

🚨 TRAFFIC ACCIDENT & POWER OUTAGE ALERT 🚨

Please use caution in the area of Hwy 183 and Ward Street.
An 18-wheeler hauling a load of pipe has run off the roadway and struck power lines, resulting in a power outage affecting the area.

⚠️ Please avoid this area if possible.

Emergency crews are responding, and the area may experience traffic delays while the scene is cleared and power is restored.

Please slow down, stay alert, and give emergency crews plenty of room to work.
