Just wanted to thank everyone for their encouragement, support, and love through this campaign. I am so so grateful to be back in a position to make the best decisions that impact our children and our entire community!!  thank you to everyone who voted! It was a very close race! Every vote counts, so I am so appreciative of all of you who went out and voted! You made a difference! thank you from the bottom of my heart!! ❤️

As election day approaches, I wanted to remind everyone to vote on Tuesday, November 4. Every vote counts!
I would truly appreciate your vote. I have devoted 38 years of
my life to excellence in education for students of GASD, where my heart is embedded. It would be an incredible honor to serve on the district's board of directors as my final chapter in this district. I have four grandchildren attending school in our district. Serving on the board allows me to continue devoting my life to excellence in education not only for my grandchildren, but for ALL our children! Children are my business!
My Goals: Throughout my career, I have always had a teamwork approach. I hope to continue this approach on the school board, bringing together all stakeholders in an effort to give all children the best education possible, making them lifelong learners and productive members of our society. I have no hidden or personal agendas. The future of our children depends on this board of directors. The budget, taxes, hiring and keeping highly qualified administration, teachers, and staff, diversity, and a sense of belonging for all stakeholders are some of the top issues I see our school board facing. No doubt we are facing some very tough times with very tough decisions. Now is the time to elect the right people to make these decisions. I am definitely the right person for the job!
I want to thank everyone who has been encouraging and supportive during this campaign. I am blessed with such an amazing group of friends, family, and supporters. In the next few days, I'm asking for one more favor: Continue to tell people that may not know me why I would be a great member of our school board.

I’ve devoted my life to making a difference in the lives of children in the GASD. I was born and raised in Gettysburg. I attended school in Gettysburg from grades one through 12. I taught for 30 years at Franklin Township and Lincoln elementary schools. I retired from this very rewarding career after eight years as principal at James Gettys Elementary School. Serving as a member of the GASD board continues my lifelong commitment to providing all our children with the tools needed to be lifelong learners.
