Attended a very informative breakfast with our State representatives! It was a great event, Georgetown Scott County Chamber of Commerce! And delicious breakfast by none other than, Breona Taul Triggs! Lots of great things happening in Scott County!

Great crowd of nearly 50 people at the Scott County Republican Party meeting tonight! It’s clear there’s real excitement — and a strong appetite — for more conservative leaders here in Scott County.

I was grateful for the opportunity to speak, share a little about my background, and talk about how I will lead as County Clerk — with professionalism, transparency, and a commitment to serving every citizen with efficiency and integrity. This office matters, and leadership matters.

I also appreciated the structure of the evening, giving each candidate time to address the crowd. I believe voters deserve more than candidates reciting what statute mandates of the office — they deserve a clear vision for leadership, accountability, and customer service. That’s exactly what I’m offering.

I especially want to thank Chairman Nick Hunt and our party officers, not just for hosting tonight’s event, but for their continued hard work moving the Scott County Republican Party forward.

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight. The energy in the room was strong — and we’re just getting started!

It’s official!

Yesterday, I filed to run in the Republican primary for Scott County Clerk, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support and encouragement so many of you have already shown.

Scott County has been my home since 2001. It’s where Chad and I are raising our two girls, where I’ve spent the last decade teaching second graders at Northern Elementary, and where I’ve been blessed to be part of a community that means the world to me.

Teaching has shaped who I am—patient, organized, attentive, and always focused on helping people succeed. Those same skills are exactly what I want to bring to the Clerk’s Office:

✔️ Clear communication
✔️ Dependable service
✔️ Respect for people’s time
✔️ And a commitment to being present and accountable

I believe Scott Countians deserve an office that works efficiently, treats everyone with dignity, and puts serving the public first. I’m ready to bring that standard of professionalism and accessibility to the County Clerk’s Office, and I would be honored to earn your support.
