Christmas on Marshall was a huge success! Thank you to Higginbotham’s, Tractor Supply, and Candy’s Pet Palace for your donations! Thank you to the different campuses for coming out and participating! Thank you to our outside vendors for coming out and participating with Gatesville ISD Community Outreach! Everyone working together made the event a success!

The Gathering Gatesville Back to School Bash was a huge success! Thank you Gatesville Elementary for the use of the school. Backpacks, shoes, haircuts and so much more! The GISD students are ready for the start of school Thursday!

We had the privilege of speaking at the Lions Club Meeting yesterday. They are a great group of people that care about this community. Their heart, humor and passions shined through! Thank you Rosemary for the invitation to speak!

“This kid dialed 911 telling the dispatcher he was running away from home after an argument with his mother. This officer arrived talked to the kid and went into his bedroom which was empty outside of a deflated blowup bed. The young man essentially slept on the floor. The officer encouraged the boy to stay home. The child’s mother facing a tough financial hardship. The officer left and soon returning with a bed, a television and a game system. The child was elated beyond words. Not all angels wear wings! Thank you officer!!!!”
