🚧 Road Closure Notice – 210th Street (B40) 🚧

Beginning Friday, 4/17, 210th Street (B40) between Oak Ave and Pine Ave will be closed for a bridge replacement project.

A signed detour will be in place—please follow posted routes.

The closure is expected to last 5–6 weeks, weather permitting.

‼️Scam Alert‼️️Fake vehicle registration vouchers are appearing in some Iowa mailboxes luring recipients into revealing personal/financial information. They are not valid and not sent from the Iowa DOT. We don't even use these types of vouchers in our system.

If you receive this voucher:
* Please report it to the Federal Trade Commission and discard the mail: https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/assistant
* If unsure of validity, review with your County Treasurer’s Office or email a photo to [email protected]

* DO NOT click on any links or provide personal or credit card information.
* Report and delete unwanted text messages. Use your phone’s “report junk” option to report unwanted texts to your messaging app or forward them to 7726 (SPAM).

We want to make our customers aware of an issue that occurred with our online property tax and motor vehicle payment system. E-check payments from March 16th and March 18th have posted to customers’ bank accounts twice.

Our vendor is creating a reversal file that will post today and will be a same-day ACH file. This should offset the duplicate payments that are pending today.

If you plan to mail your property tax payment this month, please don’t wait until March 31st to mail it.

📬 Mailing your payment on March 31st does NOT guarantee it will receive a March 31st postmark. Postmarks are strictly enforced, and payments must be postmarked on or before March 31st to be considered on time.

To avoid late fees, we strongly encourage you to mail your payment several days early or consider using an alternative payment method.
