Congratulations to Captain Edward “E.J.” Ochs on graduating from the FBI National Academy, Session 298!

Yesterday, 18 June 2026, Captain Ochs completed one of the most respected law enforcement leadership programs in the country. The FBI National Academy brings together law enforcement leaders from across the nation and around the world for advanced training in leadership, communication, fitness, and professional development.

Captain Ochs’ selection and successful completion of this program reflect his dedication to the law enforcement profession, his commitment to continued growth, and his service to the Garden City Police Department and our community.

We are proud to have Captain Ochs represent GCPD at the national level and look forward to the knowledge, perspective, and leadership he brings back to our organization.

This week, we recognize the vital role safe, reliable drinking water plays in our daily lives, from protecting public health and supporting our economy to ensuring fire protection and overall quality of life. We also highlight the dedicated professionals who work behind the scenes to maintain our water systems and deliver high-quality water to every tap. As our community continues investing in water reuse, infrastructure, and conservation efforts, we’re reminded that we all play a part in protecting this essential resource.
