When folks ask me why a regular, working-class guy can win a statewide race in Tennessee, I always tell them to look at our history. It has been 15 years since Phil Bredesen left the Governor’s office, and he remains the last Democrat to hold statewide office here. Back in 2006, he did something people today think is completely impossible: he won all 95 counties. He didn't do it by playing party bosses' games or shouting from the political extremes. He did it by being a pragmatic problem-solver who put Tennessee families first.

Governor Bredesen understood that real leadership is about making life better for the next generation, plain and simple. He focused on the building blocks of a strong state: investing in our public schools, supporting our teachers, protecting healthcare for children, and keeping state government transparent. As a fellow hunter and conservationist, I’ve always deeply respected his dedication to protecting our land. He helped preserve hundreds of thousands of acres of Tennessee's natural beauty so our grandkids could inherit it clean and unspoiled.

That is exactly the legacy I am running to continue. I believe that when you take the oath of office, you are the Governor of all the people, not just the ones who voted for you. You don't serve a political party; you serve the working families trying to make ends meet.

We can protect our public classrooms from voucher schemes, shield our water and land from corporate exploitation, and move toward healthcare for all so no family goes bankrupt over a medical emergency. We just need to stop worrying about the next election cycle and start focusing on fixing what is broken. Governor Bredesen proved that a practical approach can unite this state, and I am ready to bring that fearless, common-sense leadership back to Nashville!

Not a lot to say at this time. ... About this matter
As a farmer I'm becoming a bit concerned about the lack of rain in our area of Sumner county Tennessee. ..
I planted some young apple trees but to my dismay the lack of rain means I have to water these little starts , could run a hose but milk cartons working pretty well. ..
For these little tree's. ..
Anyway this has been Tennessee Tim cyr later. ..
PS Moon waining. .. ..

April 5, 2026 - Timothy Cyr's Log Entry. Nashville expedition is proceeding well with Deb and me faring fine. It's Sunday as usual down on the farm. Not much to note currently. The Governor's race is ongoing. With several upcoming events this month, the Democratic party's momentum is notable. Reports indicate the 'No Kings' rally was the largest in the country so far. I fervently hope the conflict resolves quickly. America's historical tensions with Iran notwithstanding, the recent military action seems unexpected. A more cautious approach might be advisable. As mentioned before, global peace is the ultimate goal. That's all from Tennessee Tim Cyr. P.S. The moon is waning.
