Labor Day is about honoring the working people who built this country & this Saturday, we’ll be celebrating that tradition right here in Gainesville. 🇺🇸💪

We’ll start the morning with the AFL-CIO North Central Florida Central Labor Council Annual Labor Day Breakfast from 8:30–11:00 AM, then head to the IBEW Local 1205 Labor Day Picnic from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM for food, games, family, friends, and fellowship.

Labor Day reminds us that fair wages, safer workplaces, weekends, and worker protections were won because working people stood together.
