CONSTANTINO ANNOUNCES ENTIRE CONGRESSIONAL SALARY BE GIVEN TO AMERICAN HERO SGT. EDDIE RYAN

Queensbury, NY – June 10, 2026 – Trump-endorsed Anthony Constantino announced that he will be donating his entire first term congressional salary to Sgt Eddie Ryan and family.

If elected, Constantino would be the first Republican member of Congress in modern history to donate his entire congressional salary.

During his third tour in Iraq in April 2005, Sgt. Ryan was severely wounded by friendly fire. He sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that resulted in lasting cognitive and mobility challenges. Constantino made the announcement at a news conference Wednesday at the Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury.

Constantino was approached by the Ryan family early last year in Lake George.

“The positive energy of the Ryan Family was impactful on me as soon as I met them. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the money. I hope it inspires other Americans to similarly support our veterans in new and creative ways.” Constantino also committed to making the donation even if he did not win the seat.

The announcement came at a surprise to Eddie’s father, Chris, a retired Marine Reservist who has dedicated his life to advocating for care for wounded veterans. “We are absolutely floored. This is life changing for us.” Chris said.

Anthony’s father was a veteran who served at the Bikini Island Atomic Bomb Test Site who impressed upon Anthony from an early age the importance of serving his community and supporting America’s service members, veterans, and their families. Anthony has spent significant resources improving Veteran’s Park, so it is befitting of the honorable men and women who have served our country.

1. I am a Minority member of the New York State Assembly,
representing the 102nd Assembly District. My District iiicludes Greene and Schoharie
counties and parts of Delaware, Columbia, Albany, Otsego, and Ulster counties. 2. I was first elected to the Assembly in April 2018 and re-elected to a full
term in November 2018 and have served as a member of the Assembly ever since.
3. I am currently the Ranking Minority Member on the Agriculture
Committee and serve as member of several other Assembly standing committees.
4. I make this affidavit based on my personal knowledge.
Bipartisan Enactment of the Assembly Map
5. On January 24, 2022, the Independënt Redistricting Commission
announced it would not submit a second set of proposed legislative-district maps, despite its
constitutional obligation to do so.
6. In response, on February 3, 2022, the Assembly passed Bill Number
A09040A (the "Bill"), which established the Assembly and State Senate district maps for the
2022 and subsequent elections.
7. The Bill passed in the Assembly by a vote of 118 to 29.
8. I voted in favor of the Bill, as did 14 of my Republican colleagues:
Representatives Angelino, Barclay, Brabenec, Fitzpatrick, Giglio, Goodell, Hawley, Jensen,
Lalor, Lemondes, Miller, Morinello, and Norris. Thus, the Bill was enacted with bipartisan
support in the Assembly.
9. I voted in favor of the Bill because I believe the Assembly district maps
contained t DOC. NO. 453 INDEX NO. E2022-0116CV

10. When I voted for the Bill, I recognized the possibility that this lawsuit
would be filed. I was and remain unaware of any intention for the lawsuit to challenge the
Assembly map.
