Save the Date for the Clarke-Warren-Rappahannock 4-H Overnight Camp for next year! Our camp dates are July 4-8, 2027. Counselor and CIT applications will open up later this fall and registration for campers will open in the spring.

🚀 Adulting 101: Ready to Level Up? 🚀

Ever feel like you don't know how to actually survive in the real world? From changing a tire to budgeting your groceries and writing a professional email, we’ve got you covered!

Join us and the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center for "Real Life, Real Skills: A Teen’s Guide to Adulthood" and get the practical tools you need to crush it on your own.

📅 When:
Oct 28th, Nov 18th, & Dec 9th
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM

💸 Investment:
$20 per session OR $50 for the full three-session bundle!

📝 What we’re tackling:

✅ Session 1 - Practical Skills: Includes but is not limited to meal prep, budgeting, sewing a button, and public speaking.

✅ Session 2 - Car & Home: Includes but is not limited to car basics (oil, tires, insurance), laundry, and home safety.

✅ Session 3 - Work/Life Readiness: Includes but is not limited to voting, email etiquette, resume building, and writing checks.

Today we mourn the loss of an American icon, a beloved philanthropist and a proud 4-H alumna, Dolly Parton. Her extraordinary life was defined not only by her incredible talent, but by her unwavering generosity, compassion and commitment to helping others.

For generations of young people, Dolly embodied what it means to use your gifts in service of others. From her roots in 4-H to her lifelong investment in literacy, education and community, she showed us that true leadership is grounded in humility, kindness, and purpose. As Dolly once said, "storms make trees take deeper roots." 💚

A proud 4-H alumna, she reminded us that challenges can strengthen us and help us grow. That wisdom will continue to inspire young people and communities for generations to come. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and the millions whose lives she touched. Her legacy of hope, generosity, and service will live on. 🍀
