Curious about Snowy Peaks? Would your child benefit from a smaller learning environment, one where all students feel supported, respected, and appreciated by their teachers and classmates?
Snowy Peaks serves students who desire a nontraditional, relationship based school, and I think your child could be a great fit here. Our staff recognizes that traditional school structures may not always meet the needs of today’s learners, and we embrace the challenge of providing a unique and innovative program designed to meet the needs of each student.
Some students learn better with more one on one interaction, more self pacing and differentiation, and fewer social distractions. While Summit School District is home to excellent traditional schools, a larger setting is not always the best fit for every student. Snowy Peaks’ small classes, limited to ten to fifteen students, allow our students to thrive in a positive learning community where they build close relationships with teachers and classmates. Because of our small setting, Snowy Peaks is a place where everyone knows your name and where every student, no matter how unique, is accepted and respected.
Our passionate teachers create an individualized education plan for every student and work tirelessly to help each one reach their potential.
We remain deeply committed to the success of our students in the following ways:
• We teach the whole child, focusing on Academics, Character, Community, and Nature.
• We create a relationship based environment where every student feels supported.
• We provide individualized education and do whatever it takes to help every child thrive.
• We maintain a relentless focus on learning and growth for all students.
• We prepare students for post secondary success and help them pursue education after high school.
I do not know your level of familiarity with Snowy Peaks, but I can assure you that our entire team is committed to helping each child thrive and succeed. It has been my privilege for more than 20 years to serve Summit County’s youth as an English teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and Principal. I have built many relationships with students and families in our community, and I look forward to building one with your child as well.
What is your next step to help your child thrive?
