Took a little extra time at the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders wall and paid respects to Dolly Parton, an absolute legend both on and off stage, who passed onto heaven today. If we all strived to be more like Dolly, the world would be a better place. 💔

I somehow missed this but yesterday was National Check Your Chip Day! If you haven’t had your pet’s microchip scanned in a while, probably time to do it. And then make sure your information is still current with the registered chip manufacturer.
It’s the quickest and safest way to get your pet returned if they ever get out. It happens more often than you think!

🐾 August 15 is National Check the Chip Day!

A microchip can help reunite you with your lost pet, but only if your contact information is up to date.

Take a few minutes to verify your pet's registration with the microchip registry company and update any outdated information. Your veterinarian can scan your pet's microchip during their annual exam, and Frisco Animal Control Officers can also scan found pets for a chip.

A quick update today could help bring your best friend home tomorrow. ❤️

School zones are already back on as some schools start today. Frisco ISD starts back tomorrow so watch for our kiddos and slow down! Expect extra enforcement out to ensure we are protecting our kids.

They're back! The first day of school is tomorrow, so do your part to protect our walkers, bikers, skaters, and bus riders. Limit distractions and observe the speed limit when driving through an active school zone. Keep our students safe!

He was last seen wearing a red shirt with "BASEBALL" written across the front, green shorts, and white shoes. He is 5 foot 8 and approximately 100 pounds.

Today is Purple Heart Day, a day we get to honor our Veterans who were injured while serving. The Mayor’s Purple Heart Social is this evening and we’ll honor our local residents who have earned this distinction.

UPDATE: Our special guest speaker will be Medal of Honor and Purple Heart recipient Florent Groberg!

Now that the holiday weekend has passed, I’d like to remind everyone that July is the month to apply for Frisco’s Boards and Commissions. This year, we will also be filling our Citizens Bond Committee in addition to our regular boards and committees.
