Here it is folks! The huge kick off tournament for the 2015 year! Featuring Super Smash Bros. Wii U and Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire! Rules for both installments will be posted within one week of the launch dates. This will be a CASH and RANKED tournament. There will be a $5.00 charge to enter the building and another charge per event you enter. Anticipated events are as follows:
Smash Wii U Singles (1v1) $5.00
Smash Wii U Doubles (2v2) $5.00
Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire 6v6 (singles) $3.00
Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire 6v6 (doubles) $3.00

HELLO EVERYONE! We are only 3 weeks away from our Central California tournament for Smash Bros. Wii U and Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire! Please read the following closely!!! Important details and RULES for our featured titles are below:
FIRST, there is a VENUE FEE (this is to get into the building the day of the event, and will be required for all patrons) of $5.00. Once into the venue, you may then choose to enter in the 3 events.
1st Event- Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire 6 on 6 (DOUBLES) - $3.00 per person
2nd Event- Smash Bros. Wii U Doubles - $5.00 per person ($10.00 a team)
3rd Event- Smash Bros. Wii U Singles- $5.00 per person
So for example, if you chose to enter ALL EVENTS it would be a total cost of $18.00 ($5.00 for venue, $5.00 for Smash Doubles, $5.00 for Smash Singles, and $3.00 for Pokemon Doubles)
RULES FOR POKEMON RUBY AND SAPPHIRE
It will be 6 Pokemon vs. 6 Pokemon, all Pokemon will be adjusted DOWN to Lv. 50 but not UP, meaning if you have a level 100 it will be level 50 for the battle, but if you have a level 42, it will remain 42 for the battle.
The following Clauses are semi-standard (Smogon) and will be in effect:
Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same Pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing Pokémon.
Evasion Clause: A player cannot increase their Pokémon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion. Items or indirect boosts do not break this clause.
OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
Battle Timeout: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
No two Pokemon on any given team may share the same item.
Smogon's tier list will be ignored for this tournament. The following Pokemon are BANNED: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Jirachi, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keledo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion.
All entrants will be subject to filling out a "team form" to ensure there is no foul play. Any person/s found to have used an external device to tamper or create 'fake' Pokemon will be disqualified without a refund. Only Pokemon caught/bred/received via special event from Pokemon X/Y/OR/AS are legal. You must use the same team through the entire tournament. Mega Evolved Pokemon are allowed. Soul Dew is banned.

Counter Picks:
Halberd
Castle Siege
Delfino Plaza
Duck Hunt
By striking or banning Final Destination, Omegas are therefore struck or banned. Stage striking will be used to determine the first stage. Winner or winning team will ban ONE stage and allow the loser/losing team to pick from any of the counter picks or neutral stages. Once a stage is banned, it is banned for the entire duration of the match.
All sets are 2/5 Winners quarters, Losers quarters, Semis, and Finals (losers included) are 3/5.
The payout (100% of the entry fees are put into the pot) is as follows:
