Now that we have speedweek in the books it's time to get fired up and get our season started after all our rainouts. We attended the speedweek final at Wayne Co Speedway. One heck of a race. If you want a thrill buy a pit pass sit in the new stands in turn 4. It was wild you will ask yourself how these guys make it thru turns 3 and 4 without hitting the wall. Jason put in some hours to have 2 speedweek shows .Had bad luck on Monday with the incident that happen and also on Saturday with the water truck turning over. Glad Jason is ok. People that want to complain about the dust yes it got a little dusty but sit down and think how many laps where ran on the track Saturday. It didn't get bad untill the feature so don't complain it's a dirt track the racing was great. So Thank You Jason Flory for your hard work and dedication to the sport to give everyone a place to race .The OVSCA will make there return to Wayne Co Speedway on July 4th we are hoping to see everyone there.

With all that is going on in the racing world the OVSCA is looking forward to hopefully get our season started on July 4th at Wayne Co Speedway. Mother Nature has been hard on the OVSCA this season with 5 rainouts. With Portsmouth Raceway coming back there is a uptick in the racing world we are happy to see it reopen and want to wish the new owners the best for 2026. As we close in on July 4th we are hoping mother Nature lets us finish out the season with no more rainouts. Hope to see everyone at Wayne Co Speedway on July 4th.

As most tracks are getting ready for there mid season championship the OVSCA is still battling mother Nature to get the season started. Hopefully on July 4 Mother nature will let the OVSCA get things rolling as we will try again on July 4 at Wayne Co Speedway. We will be off the month of June to support the AllStars circuit of champions as they have Ohio sprint Speedweek. It has been a terrible start for our 2026 season with 5 straight rainouts. But we are hoping to get it turned around the second half of the season. Hope to see everyone at Wayne Co Speedway on July 4th.

As Mother Nature has won again the OVSCA has had 5 straight rainouts. The only other person having our bad luck is Wayne Co Speedway as they are the same as the OVSCA with not being able to get the season started also. We are working to add to our schedule and hopefully get this season underway. We will keep our head up and keep on digging. We would like to Thank our marketing partners.

Well, it comes as no surprise that due to the forecast for tonight and into tomorrow we are canceling the Saturday, May 23rd, Pub 400 Salute to the Military Night. We'll see everyone next Saturday, May 30th!

As the bad luck continues for the OVSCA we are still trying to get our season started. After 4 straight rainouts the series will head to Fremont Speedway for the 1st time in series history. We are starting to get some buzz from drivers getting excited to make the trip to Fremont Speedway . As much as the OVSCA hates losing races we are holding our heads up and marching on with our season. Hopefully Mother Nature will leave us alone so we can get started for 2026. So if anyone is looking for something to do Saturday night come on up to Fremont Speedway and watch the OVSCA take on the tough local guys up there.
