Today Station Jones Beach says goodbye to FN Kelly, who has been assigned since October 2020 and is training to become an Aviation Maintenance Technician Petty Officer in Barber Point, Hawaii.

FN Kelly received a Commandant's Letter of Commendation for his professionalism, dedication and work at the station including Engineering, Search and Rescue and and support toward three high profile Jones Beach Air Show events.

Thank you for your service FN and best wishes for continued success in your Coast Guard career.

Cold weather weekend training-- Simulating a vessel taking on water and needing assistance, Coast Guard Station Jones Beach active duty and reservists pass a P6 dewatering pump from a 29-foot response boat-small II to a 45-foot response boat-medium.
