This month, the Freehold Borough Police Department and Starbucks of Freehold Borough teamed up for Coffee With a Cop. This community policing initiative provided an opportunity for officers, staff, and residents to engage in great conversation and strengthen relationships in a relaxed setting.

We can honestly say our appreciation for the management and staff grew even more after some of our officers had the chance to step behind the counter and put in a little work themselves! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and a special thank you to the Starbucks team for their hospitality and partnership in helping us connect with the community we proudly serve.

Congratulations to Officer Nancy Limon of the Monmouth Beach Police Department, who graduated last night from the Monmouth County Police Academy 61st Basic Class for SLEO II Officers.

Nancy began her law enforcement career with the Freehold Borough Police Department as a Parking Utility employee and SLEO I Officer, where she quickly demonstrated the dedication, professionalism, and work ethic that have helped her reach this milestone.

On behalf of all the members of the Freehold Borough Police Department and Parking Utility, we are incredibly proud of your accomplishment and wish you continued success as you begin this next chapter of your law enforcement career.

The Freehold Borough Police Department was proud to have Sergeant Nicholas Iozzi join a contingent of law enforcement officers at Hope Christian School in Freehold Township for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Congratulations to Officer Ian Crawford of the Freehold Borough Police Department and Officer Bethany Feinstein of the Freehold Township Police Department, who were recognized by the Freehold Township governing body and the Freehold Township Police Department for their response to a call for service involving a mutual aid response in Freehold Township, during which the officers saved a life.

Their professionalism, quick actions, and commitment to public safety exemplify the highest standards of law enforcement service and reflect great credit upon themselves and their respective departments.

Thank you to Extreme Machines of Millstone for the use of a Polaris Ranger as an added security measure for the Freehold Borough Memorial Day Parade. The Freehold Borough Police Department is truly grateful for the support in helping us better serve our community.

On Monday, May 25th, Freehold Borough will host the annual Memorial Day Parade. Beginning at 7:30 AM, roads along the parade route will begin to close and are expected to remain closed until approximately 1:00 PM.

Main Street, Broadway, and surrounding streets will be closed, with traffic detoured during the event.

Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted detours and officer directions. For the safety of parade participants and spectators, do not attempt to drive around barricades or enter closed roadways.
