These Ladies blessed some of my wonderful clients with free Laptops. I would like to give a BIG SHOUT OUT TO, Christina and Cindy from Local Positivity a non profit from Richmond VA. You have made a way for them to move forward with things that may not have happened without your help and I am truly greatful. You never know when you're going to be blessed so treat everyone with respect as you would like to be treated. And also thanks to Experimax for helping Local Positivity with the donation!

Virginia Cares and People Incorporated continued success in helping returning citizens in being successful.

Another successful event held by Failsafe-ERA and it’s CEO Juanita Shanks. Prayer was lead by our one and only Pastor Jack Richards with Fellowship, good food and wonderful speakers filled the event with purpose and community collaboration , made this day one for the records. To Roy Branklin my brother and friend I am so proud of you and the walk that God has placed upon your life. Continued success in all your endeavors. To Antoine Carey , brother you already know that in all things you have endured trails and tribulations with strength and compassion without stopping to reach your goals…I salute you and will always support you and your walk. And to the speakers Mr. Luke Wright good to see you my brother and continued blessings to you and your campaign. Mr. Antwaun Gaye thank you for the spiritual speech that hit all that were present. Mr Mathew Strickland of course brother you have one of my favorite spots to eat but also have a transparency that people need to see, continue and stay focused in your run for office. Last but not least Mrs Juanita Shanks and Failsafe-ERA, it seems like yesterday when we met and look 15 years later you continue to stand in the gap for those returning citizens and there family’s to be one of the BEST community service providers that any one would consider to have on there side. I am blessed to call you friend and more than that a true woman of God and his love. Many blessings to all that attended and just remember it takes a village and that we are the blessings from God.

To a team that is beyond words, I can't Express what you all mean to me and the community that we serve. Your diligence and strength has made this council something that has a Growth potential beyond measure....When it come to service you guys have made me so proud of each and everyone of you. The sky is the limit and I can't wait to see where this takes us. Even though some are not pictured here we are about 75 deep in person's who serve this council and I have to say PD 16 REENTRY COUNCIL YOU GUYS ROCK! Thank you all for doing and going above and beyond. May God bless you all🙏🏾

This huge pile of clothing and care packets is a snapshot of the generosity of our church.

A few weeks ago we began one of our first outreach initiatives, “Matthew 25 Alive”. It’s a model we adopted from Pastor Vernon to fulfill what Jesus so beautifully challenged us with in Matthew 25:31-46.

This first initiative, we’re giving all items to inmates who are being released and trying to get acclimated back into society. And this Sunday is the final Sunday to donate items. So if you’d like to come alongside Growth Church to be a blessing to newly released inmates throughout the FXBG region, you can drop them off this Sunday morning between 7am and 1130am at Walker Grant Middle School.

Shoutout to Marshall for leading the charge on this first initiative!

Had a great time at the Prince William county Reentry Family Orientation night. What a blessing for so many that were looking for services from jobs to housing, education, training, transportation etc. And to my friend and brother E Jamii Wood for giving an inspirational speech to all that attended. Let's take a step back today and help someone who may need your help. Thanks Skip and Allen West for always giving of yourself to accommodate those in need.
